Tailwind Management Systems Inc. has been providing its Carrier Management and Freight Broker Management
software to the trucking and brokerage industries since 2001. In that time TAILWIND™
has sold over 150 systems to clients throughout North America and become a leader in the industry.
TAILWIND™ 's Carrier Management System was originally created as a software program for a
large multi-million dollar transportation and brokerage company which now has over 33 offices across North America.
The company required a powerful, user friendly, operations program that allowed remote access without the use of any third party software,
short training times and easy deployment across multiple offices. In addition, they required the application to handle thousands of transactions
quickly and efficiently. Ultimately, a North American continent-wide interconnected virtual office was created and delivered.
TAILWIND™ 's software manages all the core functionality of Trucking Operations, Administration and
Freight Brokering including Dispatch, Driver Pay, Customer Management, Equipment Management, Invoicing, Billing, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
TAILWIND™ is fully integrated with services such as PCMiler and ProMiles mileage programs, Satellite / GPS tracking systems
created by Cancom, Qualcomm, and Linktrak, IFTA fuel tax compliant, E.D.I. (Electronic Document Interchange), interfaces with A.C.E.
(Automated Customs Environment - US Customs) accredited companies, electronic document storage, Load Tracking through websites and data transfer interfaces
with Quickbooks and Simply Accounting software packages.
Over the past three years TAILWIND™ has made and continues to make refinements, modifications and enhancements to its software
with the objective of being a superior software application supplier to the transportation industry.
